Online shopping and alternative food providers

National Wide

Some supermarkets are giving priority to over 70s and those who need it most for their online deliveries. You will need to have your gold card number when you apply.

New World is also delivering groceries, or you can opt for click and collect which allows you to place an order and it can be collected from a designated locker during a 30-minute time slot.

Frank's Sausages - Fill your freezer with some  premium sausages

Swiss Deli is a New Zealand manufacturer of continental style gourmet sausages, salami, ham, bacon and speciality meats. Nationwide delivery. Note: no rural delivery, no PO Box Delivery and the minimum order is $25.

Fresh Seafood by Takitmu Seafoods {No rural delivery}

Food{Together} - Fresh fruit and vegetable boxes - they deliver over 3000 boxes throughout the country

Loaf Shop Bread, speciality breads, cakes and slices. Shipping NI flat rate $7.50, SI  flat rate $12.50, so you will want to buy a reasonable amount to fill your cupboards and freezer.

FED - Pre-prepared meals that you heat and eat.  Some are freezer friendly. They currently deliver to Auckland, Wellington, Hamilton, Palmerston North, Tauranga and the surrounding suburbs. Nice for a special treat.

The Modern Forager - They deliver products from a lot of independent suppliers, mostly vegan and organic but they have a broad range of items available.

Biograins - Organic Grains, Flours, Pulses, Nuts, Stock Food and More


Smartass Toilet paper, paper towel and tissue delivery service.

The Market - They not only deliver and sell food but they have household goods, clothing and other essential items including alcohol.

 

Meal boxes

These contain the ingredients to cook meals including the meat, fish or chicken, vegetables and sauces

FoodBox is accepting new customers. You could select a "Just Feed 2" and select fortnightly delivery. Cook 1 week and freeze for next week's meals. This does not include recipes. It does include staple items like milk and bread.

Mount Wholefood Whole food delivery service. You can sign up for a weekly subscription box, or custom-make your own order. We deliver organic, naturally grown, and or local wholefoods in the Bay of Plenty and the North Island.

Direct from the Market - Fruit, veg and meat in the Waikato region

Woop (Auckland Only) Often 1 person box option

Produce Pronto They deliver essential items in the Auckland region which include fruit, vegetables and milk and bread.

Eketahuna Country Meats - Quality meat supplier, they also do milk deliveries in the Wellington Region

Ooooby- (Auckland & Waikato)They have a large range of organic products for delivery, from fresh fruit and vegetables, pantry staples, dairy, bakery, meat and more.

Wholegrain Organics - Contactless Collection is available from the store (Palmerston North only), or they ship NZ wide. Wholegrain organics have a range of fruit and vegetables, homemade bakery goods, pantry staples such as flour, pasta and much more - all organic.

South Island

Ooooby  (Christchurch) - They have a large range of organic products for delivery, from fresh fruit and vegetables, pantry staples, dairy, bakery, meat and more.
